An Assistant Sales Manager for Food Ingredients is a results-driven professional responsible for driving revenue growth within the UAE food manufacturing and distribution sectors. They support the Sales Manager in developing market strategies managing key accounts and ensuring the delivery of high-quality raw materials and ingredients to B2B clients while maintaining strong technical knowledge of food applications.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify and develop new business opportunities within the UAE food industry targeting manufacturers and catering sectors.
Manage and grow existing client portfolios by providing technical support and tailored ingredient solutions.
Conduct market research to stay updated on food trends competitor pricing and emerging ingredient technologies.
Negotiate contracts pricing and credit terms with clients to ensure profitable sales growth.
Collaborate with the R&D and Quality departments to assist clients in product formulation and sampling.
Prepare monthly sales forecasts budgets and performance reports for senior management.
Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery of ingredients and resolve supply chain issues.
Represent the company at industry trade shows exhibitions and networking events.
Monitor outstanding payments and coordinate with the accounts department for timely collections.
Review sales processes and recommend modifications to improve customer satisfaction and efficiency.
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in Food Science Chemistry or Business
35 years in Food Ingredient Sales
