QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE COMPETENCIES
Diploma in Engineering or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is preferred.
2 years of minimum experience in Sales within automotive parts & power tools industry.
2. JOB PURPOSE
Drive sales and contribute to the achievement of the team’s annual sales target and high customer satisfaction objectives specific to assigned territory and customer base. Achieve individual sales target set for the year by the line manager in order to contribute to team targets and consequently to annual business units revenue target as a whole. Create opportunities to acquire new business and carry out market intelligence activities.
Field Sales Executive operates within a business unit specific environment and closely working with low end customers like workshops and retailers.
3. ACCOUNTABILITIES
Key Accountabilities
Sales: Effectively follow sales procedure and process to close a sale. Conduct field visits van sales understand customer’s requirements and assess his current situation to establish product need availability. Explain technical specifications in relation to product performance suitability & usage/application to customers. Follow up with payments as per set deadlines to ensure payment is received on time and customer credit is minimized.
Business Development: Expand and strengthen customer base by maintaining a healthy relationship with existing customers through the best CRM practices advised by the line manager. Approach new ones in the assigned territory/ segment and follow up on the leads provided by the line manager. Conduct market activities (as advised by the line manager) including promotional activities full product coverage and promote new products.
Customer Satisfaction: Ensure customer satisfaction as per our Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) guidelines. Ensure performance improvement and increased customer satisfaction as per set standards by the Principle.
Competition: Efficiently carry out market intelligence to monitor competitors’ products pricing and promotional activities versus own market share and communicate a summary of analysis of the market situation and competitor activities.
Product Display: Manage product display at Dealer Point of Sale (POS) to ensure enhancement of visual effectiveness.
Reports: Prepare and submit reports such as weekly plans activity and results reports those related to issues resolution to the line manager and management review.
