Developing media strategies, creating advertisements, handling fundraising, responding to opponents, and explaining platforms in a manner accessible to the general public.
Analytical skills, critical thinking, excellent writing abilities, knowledge of current events, creativity, and diplomacy
to support on new business wins and expanded projects for existing clients. The successful candidate’s primary role will be to support a range of these accounts, whilst contributing to other new business and marketing initiatives.
The role will encompass the full range of public affairs activities, from providing strategic counsel, policy analysis, parliamentary monitoring, report writing and stakeholder engagement.
Public affairs agency experience (2-3 years) is ideally required but other political roles will also be considered.
Experience/understanding in specific sectors such as fintech, health, energy or local government would be desirable but not essential, as would candidates with their own political network or those who are politically active.
The successful candidate needs to have strong communication skills (both written and oral), solid organisational skills with a strong work ethic and a can-do attitude.
