Workshop Manager

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the workshop to ensure efficient workflow and timely vehicle delivery.
  
• Lead mentor and supervise technicians service advisors and workshop personnel.
  
• Plan schedule and allocate work based on workshop capacity technician skills and customer priorities.
  
• Monitor technician productivity workshop efficiency and utilization to achieve operational KPIs.
  
• Ensure all repairs and maintenance activities meet manufacturer standards and company quality requirements.
  
• Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize vehicle downtime.
  
• Manage customer relationships and resolve service-related issues professionally.
  
• Monitor workshop costs and improve operational profitability.
  
• Coordinate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure timely availability of spare parts and consumables.
  
• Ensure compliance with health safety environmental and company policies.
  
• Monitor workshop performance through digital dashboards and management reports.
  
• Ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are consistently achieved for fleet customers.
  
• Drive continuous process improvements and support the adoption of digital workshop and fleet management solutions.
  

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience managing an automotive workshop or fleet maintenance operation (mandatory).
  
• Valid UAE Driving License (mandatory).
  
• Active UAE Residence Visa.
  
• Strong technical knowledge of passenger vehicles and light commercial vehicles.
  
• Proven experience leading workshop teams and managing day-to-day operations.
  
• Demonstrated ability to improve workshop productivity efficiency quality and profitability.
  
• Experience with Workshop Management Systems (WMS) Fleet Management Software (FMS) or similar digital platforms.
  
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and workshop management software.
  
• Excellent leadership planning communication negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  
• Ability to work under pressure while managing multiple priorities.
  
• Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
