Day Wellsite Geologist

Location: Abu Dhabi UAE (Offshore)

We are seeking an experienced Day Wellsite Geologist to support offshore drilling operations in Abu Dhabi.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and interpret geological and drilling data in real time.
• Supervise mudlogging LWD/MWD wireline logging and coring activities.
• Identify formation tops lithology hydrocarbon shows and geological hazards.
• Provide geological recommendations for casing points coring intervals and drilling operations.
• Prepare daily weekly and end-of-well geological reports.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards and ADNOC requirements.
• Coordinate with drilling teams service companies and office-based geoscientists.

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Geology Geoscience or a related Earth Science discipline (Masters is an advantage).
• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Wellsite Geologist on offshore drilling projects.
• Strong experience with offshore exploration carbonate reservoirs and sour gas (HS) environments.
• Familiarity with UAE offshore geology is highly preferred.
• Experience supervising mudlogging LWD/MWD wireline logging and coring operations.
• Strong geological interpretation reporting and communication skills.
• Valid OPITO BOSIET/T-BOSIET certification is an advantage.
