- Work split between a Home office and an open, collaborative workspace (with screaming-fast Internet) in Anaheim Hills, minutes away from great restaurants and local coffee shops, as well as onsite client work within best-in-class healthcare, finance, law firms, high-tech manufacturing/engineering operations, and non-profits throughout Southern California (Orange, San Diego, and Los Angeles Counties). No two days are the same – so the views are always changing!
- Full-time, permanent position with core hours M-F 8 am-5 pm, with some flex around those hours and occasional weekends
- Competitive pay hourly pay, $30-36/hour based on experience, with overtime available

In addition, the Project Engineer must have the ability to understand the business impact of technology decisions within customers' networks and recommend the most comprehensive solution to meet the customers' business needs.
Technology Design and Implementation
Technology Design and Implementation
- Design and implementation at the network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, switches WLAN and security solutions
- Design and implement private and public cloud solutions as well as traditional on premise server and application solutions for customers using technologies including VMware, Windows Server, Exchange Server, SQL, RDS, Citrix and other technologies within our service catalog.vice catalog.
- Design and implement storage, backup, and disaster recovery solutions
- Design and implement endpoint technology solutions including VDI, desktop migrations, tablet and wireless technologies for Windows, MAC, Android, and others
- Travel to client sites and provide onsite service and support as necessary and provide on-call support as assigned
Project Management:
- Review and optimize current project implementation methods to support business growth
- Project Management on assigned projects, including coordination, scheduling, time keeping, and documentation
- Attend and conduct internal and client meetings and manage client expectations
- Provide presales support for customer technology solution requirements
- Manage products and inventory relative to assigned project
Administration:
- Perform system documentation on implemented technologies for the support team to have efficient means of post-implementation technical support documents
- Perform research and testing of new technologies to remain nimble with emerging technologies
- Document internal processes and procedures related to duties and responsibilities
- 3+ years of experience in a network engineer role
- 4-year degree in CIS or MIS and 4+ year work experience in information technology, or equivalent work experience
- Strongly encouraged: 3+ years of experience as a project engineer with project management responsibilities
- Certification in Microsoft, VMware, Cisco, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+ or similar industry training program
- Must have valid driver’s license & reliable vehicle
- Able to lift, carry and move 40 pounds of computer equipment
