Be fully responsible for the entire testing schedule, including project management related tasks and all supporting documentation leading up to and resulting from testing events.
Be fully responsible for test plans, determining testing location, and ensuring test events are executed successfully.
Be fully responsible to report all errors and regularly provides detailed documentation and traces. Manage and track defects resulting from testing events.
Promptly communicate any technical or quality related issues. Provides any potential solutions obtained from the testing, validation, and verification process directly to customer.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Computer Science.
8-10 years of IT work and/or Product Development / Product Engineering experience.
5-8 years of supervisory experience, managing professionals, leading teams, groups and vendors.
2-3 years of managing outsourced/offsite vendors.
2-3 years of Automotive or Telematics/Connected Vehicle experience.
Experience with managing customer-facing (B2C) and advanced Technology projects.
Experience with developing and managing a budget (at least 5M).
Experience working on Application Development or Portfolio Support and/or large or multiple projects.
Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
General understanding of both Waterfall, Agile and hybrid software development methodologies.
