Vice President Rights & Inclusion
Job Summary
The VP Rights & Inclusion is responsible for two complementary agendas: ensuring Accors operations integrate human rights of all - guests and Heartists alike - and making Accors hospitality genuinely inclusive and accessible with a focus on guests. Reporting to the Chief Sustainability Officer this role leads a dedicated team and drives programs embedded across Accors brands and regions contributing to the Groups reputation ethical performance and sustainability.
- Strategic vision & roadmap: lead Accors global strategy & roadmap on human rights and inclusive hospitality ensuring alignment with the Groups sustainability commitments and Hosting Change ambitions. Translate global commitments into actionable regional and brand-level roadmaps in collaboration with the sustainability and People & Culture teams across the network.
- Human rights: Oversee Accors human rights program across the full guest and Heartist journey including trainings audits worker voice mechanisms and response protocols. Ensure compliance with evolving regulatory requirements and international standards.
- Inclusive hospitality: Deploy & scale programs making Accors hospitality accessible and welcoming to all guests (e.g. people with disabilities LGBTQI). Support People & Culture teams to ensure DEI commitments including gender equality are reflected in Heartist-facing programs (e.g. talents development programs) and Group-level decisions.
- Advocacy & partnerships: Cultivate strategic relationships with peers NGOs public institutions and industry bodies. Represent Accor in relevant forums and working groups and contribute to advocacy efforts on human rights and inclusion topics.
- Performance & reporting: Define track and steer relevant KPIs in collaboration with brands and regions. Ensure robust reporting and compliance with disclosure requirements and global standards. Communicate progress to internal and external stakeholders.
- Market intelligence: Monitor peer positioning and emerging trends to inform Accors strategic stance on human rights and inclusive hospitality.
Qualifications :
- 10 years of professional experience including social impact leadership and ESG transformation roles
- Proven expertise in defining and deploying social impact strategies at scale
- Demonstrated experience in international environments and managing multi-regional priorities
- Strong background in stakeholder engagement advocacy partnerships and public affairs
- Solid experience in impact measurement and social performance management
- Excellent management and interpersonal skills with active listening and pragmatic problem-solving abilities
- Comprehensive understanding of sustainability trends regulatory landscapes benchmarking practices and international standards (UNGPs ILO Conventions OECD guidelines UNGC)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and French
- Strategic thinking with ability to translate global commitments into actionable regional and brand-level initiatives
- Demonstrated capability to lead cross-functional teams and drive organisational change
