Job Summary
Job Purpose:
The Trainee Underwriter will support the underwriting team in assessing and evaluating risks for individual and group health insurance policies. This role is designed to develop the trainees skills and knowledge in underwriting enabling them to contribute effectively to the team and grow within the company.
Assist in analyzing and evaluating risks for potential clients to determine coverage needs and premium costs.
Work closely with senior underwriters to learn the principles and practices of underwriting.
Prepare and review underwriting documentation and reports.
Support the underwriting team in maintaining accurate records and databases.
Communicate with clients brokers and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for risk assessment.
Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance underwriting knowledge and skills.
Ensure compliance with company policies regulations and industry standards.
Must be a UAE National.
Bachelors degree in Business Finance Insurance or a related field.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint).
Detailoriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
