We are seeking an experienced Technology Operations Engineer Digital Payments / FinTech to support critical financial technology solutions. The role is responsible for ensuring the availability reliability security and performance of payment systems while adhering to ITSM processes and operational excellence standards within a financial services environment.
The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in payment ecosystems APIs security frameworks digital banking technologies and enterprise operations management.
Key Responsibilities
Support and maintain systems related to digital payments wallets and FinTech platforms.
Manage and support containerized platforms including deployment orchestration scaling and troubleshooting.
Administer and optimize web services including reverse proxy load balancing and traffic routing.
Perform advanced Linux system administration (RHEL/SUSE).
Monitor system performance availability capacity and overall operational health.
Ensure high availability business continuity and disaster recovery readiness.
Manage the complete Incident Management lifecycle (L1L3) in alignment with ITIL standards.
Lead Major Incident management activities including bridge calls and stakeholder communications.
Review Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports and implement preventive and corrective actions.
Monitor and maintain operational SLAs KPIs and service reporting.
Govern Change Management processes including impact assessments approvals and rollback planning.
Execute Release Management activities including deployments validations and production support.
Coordinate with application development QA infrastructure security and business teams.
Ensure compliance and operational readiness during production releases.
Maintain compliance with audit security regulatory and governance requirements.
Develop and maintain SOPs runbooks operational procedures and technical documentation.
Drive continual service improvement initiatives across the technology landscape.
Ensure payment platforms comply with PCI-DSS ISO 27001 regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Evaluate and recommend technologies platforms and frameworks to support business growth and digital transformation initiatives.
Conduct technology reviews technical assessments architecture evaluations and risk assessments.
Manage relationships with technology partners vendors and service providers.
Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly governance presentations covering operational performance service metrics risks and improvement initiatives.

Experience Requirements
812 years of experience in technology operations production support or technology implementation roles.
Minimum 5 years of experience within Digital Payments FinTech Banking or Financial Services environments.
Strong understanding of payment processing transaction lifecycles settlement reconciliation and financial operations.
Solid knowledge of regulatory compliance information security and operational risk management within financial services.
Experience working with banks payment service providers (PSPs) FinTech organizations and regulatory stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience managing complex production environments with high transaction volumes and stringent availability requirements.
