Job Summary
Apt Resources is seeking a Team Leader Dairy Cattle Feeding Operations to oversee daily feeding activities ensure optimal herd nutrition and lead a team in maintaining the highest standards of animal care and farm productivity of our VIP client in Abu Dhabi UAE.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily feeding operations for dairy cattle.
- Ensure feed is prepared mixed and distributed according to established feeding programs and nutritional requirements.
- Monitor feed quality inventory and storage to minimize waste and maintain freshness.
- Lead train and motivate the feeding team to achieve operational excellence.
- Ensure feeding schedules are followed accurately and consistently.
- Monitor cattle health feeding behavior and body condition reporting any concerns to farm management.
- Coordinate with veterinarians nutritionists and other farm departments to support herd performance.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of feeding equipment feed storage areas and workstations.
- Ensure compliance with farm biosecurity animal welfare and workplace health and safety standards.
- Keep accurate records of feed usage inventory and daily operations.
Requirements
- Minimum 35 years of experience in dairy farming with hands-on experience in dairy cattle feeding operations.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of dairy cattle nutrition feed management and feeding equipment.
- Ability to lead and manage a multicultural workforce.
- Good organizational communication and problem-solving skills.
- Physically fit and willing to work in a farm environment.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of animal welfare and operational efficiency.
Benefits
