Job Summary
Apt Resources is searching for a dynamic and experienced Finance Director to lead the financial operations within a leading company in the Mining and Food Distribution sectors. This key leadership role will focus on optimizing financial performance ensuring regulatory compliance and supporting strategic initiatives across both industries.
- Develop and execute financial strategies that align with organizational goals in both mining and food distribution sectors
- Oversee financial planning and analysis budgeting forecasting and reporting activities
- Analyze financial data and generate reports that provide insights into operational performance
- Manage cash flow investments and financial risks to ensure the companys financial health
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project development and operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards across both industries
- Lead mentor and manage the finance team fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or a related field (Masters degree or CPA/ACCA preferred).
- Proven senior-level finance leadership experience ideally in the mining sector or related industries.
- Exposure to or interest in the food distribution/FMCG industry is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of international accounting standards and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent leadership analytical and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage responsibilities across multiple industries with agility and strategic focus.
- Strong communication skills in English; Portuguese or French would be an asset.
- Extensive experience with SAP
Benefits
