Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and organized Storekeeper to manage inventory maintain stock records and ensure the smooth operation of the store or warehouse. The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail good organizational skills and the ability to handle stock efficiently while maintaining accurate inventory records.

As a Storekeeper you will play a vital role in ensuring that materials products and supplies are properly received stored and distributed according to company procedures.



Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive inspect and verify incoming goods and materials.
  • Organize and store inventory in designated locations.
  • Maintain accurate stock records and inventory databases.
  • Monitor stock levels and report shortages to management.
  • Prepare and process stock issuance requests.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and stock audits.
  • Ensure proper labeling and identification of products.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments regarding inventory requirements.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the storage area.
  • Follow company safety procedures and warehouse standards.
  • Track damaged expired or obsolete inventory and report accordingly.
  • Assist in loading and unloading goods when required.
  • Generate inventory reports and update management on stock movements.

Required Skills

  • Strong inventory management and record-keeping skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and inventory software.
  • Good organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and stock control procedures.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to handle physical tasks and lift materials when necessary.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Diploma or certification in Logistics Supply Chain or a related field is an advantage.
  • Previous experience as a Storekeeper Warehouse Assistant or Inventory Controller is preferred.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems is beneficial.
  • Basic knowledge of stock management and warehouse safety practices.
