Specialist Psychiatrist

SearchPlus HR is seeking a dedicated and experienced Specialist Psychiatrist to join our private healthcare facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive psychiatric care including assessment diagnosis treatment and ongoing management of patients with mental health disorders. The Specialist Psychiatrist will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient-centered care while maintaining the highest clinical and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree (MBBS MD) from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a recognized residency training program in Psychiatry.
• Specialist Certification/Board Certification in Psychiatry.
• Valid medical license and eligibility for Specialist registration with the relevant healthcare authority.
• Minimum of 3 years of post-specialization experience in psychiatry preferably within a hospital or private healthcare setting.

• Strong clinical expertise in psychiatric assessment and treatment.
• Excellent communication interpersonal and counseling skills.
• Ability to establish therapeutic relationships with patients and families.
• Sound clinical judgment and decision-making abilities.
• Strong commitment to patient safety confidentiality and ethical practice.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in adult child and adolescent geriatric addiction or consultation-liaison psychiatry.
• Training or certification in psychotherapy modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) or related approaches.
• Experience working in a private healthcare environment.
• Multilingual communication skills are an advantage.
