Job Summary
A Spa Therapist at SEVEN is a dedicated professional who provides a range of therapeutic treatments and wellness services to promote relaxation rejuvenation and overall well-being. This role involves delivering exceptional personalised experiences that align with SEVENs commitment to redefining wellness. Working within our luxurious wellness environment the Spa Therapist plays a key role in ensuring each guest feels restored and cared for embodying SEVENs philosophy of holistic health and elevated service.
Key Responsibilities and Expectations:
Wellness Treatments:
- Perform a range of specialised spa treatments including deep tissue massage signature massage dry cupping therapy Madero therapy and lymphatic drainage.
- Tailor treatments to each guests needs while adhering to industry best practices such as identifying contraindications and ensuring safe and effective delivery of therapies.
- Customise treatments to meet individual client needs and preferences.
Guest Interaction:
- Greet clients warmly and ensure they feel welcome and comfortable.
- Conduct pre-treatment consultations to understand health concerns or contraindications.
- Provide aftercare advice including product recommendations and wellness tips.
Operational Excellence:
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms ensuring a clean relaxing and hygienic environment.
- Manage appointment schedules effectively ensuring punctuality.
- Handle spa products tools and equipment with care adhering to safety standards.
Retail and Product Knowledge:
- Stay informed about spa product lines and services to confidently recommend items to guests.
- Support retail sales by educating clients about products that complement their treatments.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with other spa professionals CRO spa supervisor / managers and therapists to ensure seamless operations.
- Participate in team meetings training sessions and workshops.
Requirements
- Diploma or certification in massage therapy aesthetics or a related field.
- Training in specific therapies (e.g. aromatherapy reflexology) is a plus.
- Relevant work experience in a spa wellness centre or hospitality setting.
- Knowledge of spa software systems and scheduling tools is beneficial.
- Work hours will vary and may include weekends evenings and public holidays based on operational requirements.
- Physically demanding role involving standing bending and performing treatments for extended periods.
