Job Title: Senior/Principal Consultant - Process Optmization
Location: Abu Dhabi

The USC Subject Matter Expert (SME) is a senior consulting role responsible for guiding customers through complex implementations of AVEVA Unified Supply Chain (USC) solutions including USC Plan Network Schedule Assay and related technologies.
The USC SME serves as a trusted advisor to customers combining deep industry knowledge with extensive productexpertiseto designvalidate andoptimizebusiness solutions that deliver measurable operational value. The role provides technical leadership across project lifecycle phases from business process assessment and solution design through deployment user adoption and continuous improvement. The USC SME also supports presales activities practice development andmentoring ofconsultants across the global USC community.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Solution Leadership
Lead the design and implementation of complex USC solutions.
Translate customer business requirements into scalable USC solution architectures and optimization models.
Facilitate workshops with planners schedulers supply chain managers and executive stakeholders.
Drive alignment between businessobjectivesand system capabilities.
Implementation Delivery
Act as the functional and technical authority during USC implementation projects.
Define modelling approaches solution architecture integration requirements and deployment strategies.
LeadUSCmodeldevelopment validation testing and user acceptance activities.
Resolve complex technical and business issues during project execution.
Ensure projects follow AVEVA delivery methodologies and best practices.
Business Process Consulting
Assess customer planningbusinessprocesses recommendingimprovements inprocesses and workflows.
SupportcustomerDigital Transformation Initiativesin Planning domains.
Supportoperating models that maximize value realization from USC investments.
Technical Leadership
Serve astechnicallead on strategic or high-complexity projects.
Review solution designs and deliverables created by project teams.
Establish modelling standardsimplementationaccelerators and reusable assets.
Coach consultants and technical leads on USC methodologies and best practices
Contribute todevelopmentof delivery methodologies templates accelerators and standards.
Supportpresalesactivities including discovery workshops demonstrations solution assessments estimates and proposal development.
Assistwith capability development and training programs across the global USC practice.
Customer Relationship Management
Develop trusted advisor relationships with customer leadership teams.
Present recommendations roadmaps and value assessments to senior stakeholders.
Support executive steering committees and project governance activities.
Required Qualifications
15 years of experience in supply chain planning refinery planning optimizationideally complemented withindustrial software consulting.
Proventrack recorddelivering complex supply chain transformation or optimization projects.
Experience leading multi-disciplinary and multi-country project teams.
Experience managing direct customer engagements and executive stakeholders.
Strongexpertisein AVEVA Unified Supply Chain Planand Network or equivalent solutions.
Industry Knowledgein Refining and Petrochemicals.
Substantialexperience insupply chain optimization modelling includinglinear and mixed-integer optimizationapproaches
