- Collaborate with internal departments to guarantee adherence to all department policies and regulations.
- Champion operational efficiency enhancements within the department by identifying opportunities for best practice implementation and process optimization, while safeguarding service quality.
- Generate regular reports for the line manager and the department on assigned activities, providing accurate data to support informed business decisions.
- Plan, schedule, and conduct building control inspections for new construction and modifications across the organisation sites.
- Prepare comprehensive inspection reports, adhering to the approved format and including relevant site photographs.
- Maintain ongoing monitoring of construction sites in collaboration with consultants/contractors, ensuring overall compliance.
- Maintain meticulous records, including reports, notes, daily logs, and inspection photographs.
- Evaluate as-built and building completion applications, verifying adherence to building regulations and approved drawings.
- Identify and report violations to the line manager, providing detailed reports with photographs and referencing violation codes.
- Proactively follow-up with clients, consultants, and contractors on action plans to address identified issues, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
- Conduct inspections of foundations, concrete, steel structures, and other elements as directed by the line manager, adhering to standard procedures and checklists.
- Organize and maintain files and reports related to inspection, plan checks, and associated findings.
