Position Title: Senior Laboratory Instrument Service Engineer

Location: Dubai UAE (Onsite)

Contract Type: Full-Time Permanent

Role Overview

Our Client is a well-established medical and surgical equipment trading company based in Dubai seeking a highly skilled Senior Biomedical Engineer with hands-on experience across leading analytical and diagnostic instrument brands. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation maintenance and technical support of laboratory equipment across client sites in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

- Install commission and calibrate laboratory analytical and diagnostic instruments at client sites.

- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance across a wide range of laboratory equipment brands.

- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical faults; carry out prompt and effective repairs.

- Provide technical support and end-user training on instrument operation maintenance and safety protocols.

- Maintain accurate service records calibration logs and technical documentation.

- Liaise with manufacturers suppliers and internal teams to source spare parts and technical resources.

- Ensure all installations and maintenance activities comply with UAE regulatory and laboratory safety standards.

- Respond promptly to client service requests and after-hour call-outs as required.

Required Experience & Skills

- Bachelors Degree in Biomedical Engineering Electronics or a related discipline.

- Proven hands-on experience servicing laboratory analytical instruments from leading brands including Agilent Thermo Fisher Shimadzu PerkinElmer Beckman Coulter Waters Bio-Rad Roche Siemens Mindray Sysmex or similar platforms.

- Strong diagnostic calibration and troubleshooting skills across analytical and diagnostic laboratory equipment.

- UAE engineering registration or licence is strongly preferred.

- Excellent communication and client-facing skills with a customer-first approach.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Must be currently based in Dubai or the wider UAE candidates already in the UAE will be given strong preference.
