Job Summary

What Youll Do

Commercial Management

  • Lead the commercial administration of major trade packages throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare review and negotiate interim valuations variations claims and final accounts.
  • Manage subcontractor accounts payment certifications and back-charge recovery.
  • Monitor package performance against budget and identify commercial risks and opportunities.
  • Support cost forecasting budgeting and monthly commercial reporting.

Contract Administration

  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and commercial procedures.
  • Evaluate contractual changes and assess their commercial impact.
  • Support dispute avoidance and resolution through accurate commercial records and documentation.

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary commercial interface with clients consultants subcontractors and internal stakeholders for assigned packages.
  • Represent the company during valuation meetings and commercial negotiations.

Leadership & Mentoring

  • Provide guidance and supervision to Quantity Surveyors and Junior Quantity Surveyors.
  • Review commercial outputs and ensure accuracy and quality of deliverables.
  • Promote commercial best practices across project teams.

Qualifications :

What We Need From You

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Quantity Surveying Civil Engineering or related discipline.
  • MRICS (or equivalent professional accreditation) is strongly preferred.
  • Masters Degree is advantageous.

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of Quantity Surveying experience within large-scale building civil or infrastructure projects.
  • Proven experience managing major trade packages independently.
  • Strong background in variations claims final accounts subcontract management and cost control.
  • Experience managing large steel façade and complex construction packages is highly preferred.
  • GCC experience is advantageous.

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of standard forms of contract and commercial practices.
  • Advanced cost management and forecasting capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and commercial management systems.
  • Excellent analytical negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
