About the role

GHD is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Project Manager Design Management to join our Abu Dhabi team leading the design delivery of complex projects within the Buildings & Property sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the design process across building and property projects ensuring alignment with client expectations and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams and external consultants to deliver high-quality timely outputs.
• Oversee design reviews approvals and compliance with local authority requirements (e.g. ADM ADWEA).
• Manage project schedules budgets risks and change control processes.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement including clients contractors and government entities.
• Support pre-contract and post-contract phases including technical evaluations and tender documentation.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in design management for buildings and property developments preferably in the UAE or GCC region.
• Proven track record in managing design for high-rise mixed-use commercial or institutional buildings.
• Strong understanding of local authority processes and permitting requirements.
• PMP certification or equivalent is preferred.
• Excellent leadership communication and coordination skills.
