SENIOR MEP MANAGER
Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all MEP activities throughout the lifecycle of residential and mixed-use development projects.
- Oversee the planning design coordination procurement installation testing commissioning and handover of MEP systems.
- Coordinate with clients consultants architects structural teams contractors and authorities to ensure seamless project execution.
- Review and approve MEP designs shop drawings material submittals and technical specifications.
- Ensure all MEP works comply with project requirements applicable codes regulations and quality standards.
- Monitor project schedules budgets and resource allocation to achieve timely and cost-effective project delivery.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize delays and technical issues.
- Manage MEP contractors and subcontractors ensuring high standards of safety quality and productivity.
- Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings to monitor performance and resolve technical challenges.
- Support value engineering initiatives to optimize project performance and reduce costs without compromising quality.
- Ensure successful testing commissioning and final handover of all MEP systems.
- Prepare and present progress reports technical updates and project performance metrics to senior management.
- Mentor and develop engineering teams promoting collaboration and continuous improvement.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 14 years of experience in MEP management with significant experience in residential and mixed-use development projects.
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale development projects from design through construction and handover.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC electrical plumbing fire protection ELV and building management systems.
- Excellent understanding of international engineering standards local regulations and authority requirements.
- Strong project management planning budgeting and contract administration skills.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing multiple stakeholders.
- Proficient in reviewing engineering designs technical documentation and construction methodologies.
- Strong leadership negotiation problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software; familiarity with AutoCAD Revit and BIM coordination is an advantage.
- Professional engineering registration or relevant certifications are considered an advantage.
