SENIOR MEP MANAGER

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all MEP activities throughout the lifecycle of residential and mixed-use development projects.
• Oversee the planning design coordination procurement installation testing commissioning and handover of MEP systems.
• Coordinate with clients consultants architects structural teams contractors and authorities to ensure seamless project execution.
• Review and approve MEP designs shop drawings material submittals and technical specifications.
• Ensure all MEP works comply with project requirements applicable codes regulations and quality standards.
• Monitor project schedules budgets and resource allocation to achieve timely and cost-effective project delivery.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize delays and technical issues.
• Manage MEP contractors and subcontractors ensuring high standards of safety quality and productivity.
• Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings to monitor performance and resolve technical challenges.
• Support value engineering initiatives to optimize project performance and reduce costs without compromising quality.
• Ensure successful testing commissioning and final handover of all MEP systems.
• Prepare and present progress reports technical updates and project performance metrics to senior management.
• Mentor and develop engineering teams promoting collaboration and continuous improvement.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 14 years of experience in MEP management with significant experience in residential and mixed-use development projects.
• Proven track record of delivering large-scale development projects from design through construction and handover.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC electrical plumbing fire protection ELV and building management systems.
• Excellent understanding of international engineering standards local regulations and authority requirements.
• Strong project management planning budgeting and contract administration skills.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing multiple stakeholders.
• Proficient in reviewing engineering designs technical documentation and construction methodologies.
• Strong leadership negotiation problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software; familiarity with AutoCAD Revit and BIM coordination is an advantage.
• Professional engineering registration or relevant certifications are considered an advantage.
