Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Draftsman with extensive UAE construction experience to prepare accurate shop drawings coordination drawings structural steel drawings reinforcement detailing and as-built documentation. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineers consultants architects and site teams to ensure all drawings meet project specifications consultant requirements and UAE authority standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare detailed shop drawings construction drawings and coordination drawings.
   
2. Develop structural steel fabrication and erection drawings.
   
3. Prepare reinforcement detailing (rebar drawings) as per approved structural designs.
   
4. Produce MEP coordination drawings to support multidisciplinary project execution.
   
5. Coordinate with Project Engineers Design Consultants Architects and Site Engineers to resolve drawing discrepancies.
   
6. Revise drawings based on consultant comments design changes RFIs and site requirements.
   
7. Prepare accurate as-built drawings for project handover.
   
8. Maintain drawing registers revision logs document control and drawing archives.
   
9. Ensure compliance with project specifications consultant requirements UAE authority regulations and company drafting standards.
   
10. Support project teams throughout construction until final handover.
    

Requirements

1. Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering Drafting or a related discipline.
   
2. Minimum 5 years of UAE construction experience in drafting.
   
3. Proven experience preparing shop drawings for large-scale construction projects.
   
4. Strong knowledge of structural architectural and MEP coordination drawings.
   
5. Expert proficiency in AutoCAD.
   
6. Working knowledge of Revit is preferred.
   
7. Familiarity with UAE construction standards and consultant approval processes.
   
8. Excellent attention to detail coordination and problem-solving skills.
