Senior Accountant - Russian Speaker

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant who is fluent in Russian and possesses comprehensive knowledge of VAT submission to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance within our real estate development operations.

Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate financial records including but not limited to income statements balance sheets and cash flow statements.
2. VAT Compliance: Manage all aspects of VAT compliance including timely submission of VAT returns ensuring adherence to VAT regulations and resolving any related issues.
3. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts to support effective financial planning and decisionmaking processes.
4. Accounts Payable and Receivable: Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions ensuring timely processing of invoices payments and collections.
5. Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of transactions and account balances.
6. Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis to provide insights into the companys financial performance identify areas for improvement and support strategic decisionmaking.
7. Audit Preparation: Assist in the coordination and preparation of financial audits liaising with auditors and providing necessary documentation and support as required.
8. Internal Controls: Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
9. Communication: Effectively communicate financial information and insights to management stakeholders and other relevant parties in a clear and concise manner.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field. Professional certification such as ACCA CPA or equivalent is highly desirable.
2. Fluency in Russian and English languages is essential with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
3. Proven experience in accounting roles within the real estate development industry preferably in Dubai or the UAE market.
4. Indepth knowledge of VAT regulations and experience in VAT submission and compliance in the UAE.
5. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks SAP or similar platforms. Advanced Excel skills are also required.
6. Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
7. Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
8. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across different departments and levels of the organization.
