Job Description

  • You will be responsible to assist in the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations.
  • You will be required to act as a sales specialist and be responsible to assist the government revenue is maximised in the most profitable way in line with the agreed targets.
  • Sales Manger will be Responsible for planning, soliciting, booking and building and leading a team of salespeople to help drive revenue.
  • As a Sales Manager Government you responsibilities and essential job functions
  • Direct all Sales operations (Government Sectors) for the hotel to maximize revenue opportunities for all segments and channels.
  • Solicit new and existing accounts to meet and exceed revenue goals through telephone prospecting, outside sales calls, site inspections and written communication.
  • Establish and grow our market share by developing and maintaining relationships with all Government sectors.
  • Maintain a complete knowledge of all the services a hotel provides so as to conduct successful sales
  • To maintain complete and supported records of all sales agreements, contract and quotes for the hotel as per hotel Policies and Procedures.
  • Experience in the GCC market.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years work experience in leisure segment or in a similar role in a luxury international brand hotel within UAE.
  • Good understanding of selling techniques and leisure market segment in the UAE and GCC.
  • Arabic language preferred
  • Ideally already based in UAE.
  • well versed with market within the UAE and GCC market
