Sales Manager

Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Business Development

• Develop and implement the regional sales strategy aligned with the companys global objectives.

• Identify new business opportunities and growth segments across steel cement non-ferrous metals petrochemical power generation and other high-temperature industrial markets.

• Drive sales growth and profitability for the monolithic refractories product range.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers distributors contractors and industry partners.

• Negotiate commercial agreements and manage major contract discussions.

• Monitor market trends competitor activities and customer requirements to identify opportunities and risks.

Team Leadership & Management

• Lead coach and develop a sales team located across the MEA region.

• Establish clear objectives performance indicators and development plans for team members.

• Foster a high-performance customer-focused culture.

• Support succession planning talent development and employee engagement initiatives.

• Ensure effective communication and collaboration across regional and global teams.

Customer & Technical Support

• Collaborate with technical service teams to ensure successful implementation of refractory solutions.

• Support key customer projects shutdowns and technical evaluations.

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term partnership development.

• Promote value-added solutions and differentiate the companys offerings through technical expertise and service excellence.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with manufacturing supply chain product management R&D and finance teams to support business objectives.

• Participate in product launches and strategic growth initiatives.

• Contribute to regional and global business planning processes.

Profile/Competencies:

Qualification and Experience

• Bachelors degree in Engineering Materials Science Business Administration or a related field.

• Minimum 10-14 years of experience in refractory materials industrial minerals or related industrial sectors.

• Proven sales management experience within the Middle East and Africa region.

• Strong knowledge of monolithic refractories and their applications in high-temperature industries.

• Demonstrated success in managing distributors direct sales channels and key accounts.

• Experience leading and developing multicultural teams.

• Strong commercial acumen and contract negotiation skills.

• Excellent communication presentation and relationship management abilities.

• Fluency in English is required; additional regional languages are considered an advantage.
