Room Attendant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Room Attendant to join our hospitality team in Abu Dhabi United Arab this role you will play a vital part in creating a clean comfortable and welcoming environment for our guests. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Rooms you will deliver exceptional housekeeping services while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and care. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment where your attention to detail and collaborative spirit will directly contribute to guest satisfaction and organizational success.

• Provide consistently professional friendly and engaging service to all guests while respecting their privacy and maintaining confidentiality at all times
• Clean and service assigned guest rooms suites and public areas in accordance with established hotel standards and procedures
• Perform comprehensive housekeeping duties including making beds changing linens dusting and polishing furniture vacuuming carpets cleaning floors and thoroughly sanitizing bathrooms
• Clean windows mirrors and glass surfaces to ensure a spotless appearance throughout guest areas
• Remove trash and used items from rooms promptly and dispose of them in accordance with organizational guidelines
• Replenish guest room supplies such as towels toiletries and amenities in a timely and organized manner
• Inspect rooms thoroughly to ensure cleanliness proper setup and functionality of all equipment and fixtures
• Report maintenance issues damages or safety concerns promptly to the appropriate department
• Maintain housekeeping carts storage areas and linen closets in an organized clean and efficient manner
• Follow all health safety and sanitation guidelines including proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals
• Respond promptly to guest requests and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
• Assist with special cleaning projects deep cleaning tasks and room preparations as assigned
• Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling and willingness to support team needs during peak periods

Qualifications :

• Cooperate and comply with Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island in regard to OSH instructions and safe working procedures.
• Take reasonable care for the health and safety of themselves environment and others at work.
• Do not adversely interfere with anything provided for OSH.
• Do not interfere adversely with anything in place to control OSH risks.
• Cooperate with organization with respect to actions and or actions taken to protect the employee/ OSH requirements.
• Follow OSHMS procedures as applicable.
• Raise identified OSH issues with designated persons and take part in OSH consultative arrangements.
• Report all near miss/hazard/unsafe conditions or act.
• Use appropriate PPE and safety systems.
• Be familiar with emergency and evacuation procedures.
• Attend OSH training as required by the training needs analysis.
• Maintain all OSHMS records as required by the Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island.

  Authority

• To stop any hazardous activity within the workplace.
• To be consulted by the direct manager/supervisor.
• To be communicated by management on OSH matters and changes.
• To get information training supervision and instruction by the management.
• To have specific job descriptions and inductions on OSH responsibilities
• To report any hazards and to get feedback on that.
• Participate in OSH matters such as risk assessments incident investigations PPE selections hazard control selections management of change process etc.
• To assign OSH representative from employees.

  Accountability

   

• Regular reporting to direct manager / supervisor.
• For their own acts of negligence to laid down procedures.
• Attend all trainings & TBT and work according to the trainings & TBT Plan.
• To be abided and perform according to RHAUH OSHMS and local OSH SRA & food safety regulatory frame works.
• For safety of self and the equipment used and task performed.
• Accountable to protect others who may affect by their work.
• To work according to Job descriptions provided.

  Sustainability:

• To implement sustainability policies and procedures within their departments as per ESG company targets and KPIs;
• To ensure department-specific environmental SOPs and procedures  are followed;
• To monitor daily practices related to waste segregation energy and water use;
• To identify opportunities for waste reduction and energy and water efficiency improvements.
• To report environmental issues non-compliance or improvement opportunities to management;
• To ensure new colleagues  receive environmental and sustainability orientation
• To participate in a hotel relevant CSR activity.
