This is a remote position.

Role

• Using a variety of tools, build a data engineering pipeline to extract & analyze data generated by online user activity
  

• Work with engineers to connect backend data collected from website analytics tools & create necessary reports & visualizations to present to stakeholders
  

• Create Reports with data visualizations that are easy to understand, as per Product / Business requirements
  

• Working with engineering & QA teams to implement your solutions
  

• Understanding the behavior & expectations of online visitors
  

• Staying up to date with the latest developments on selected tools
  

• BE/MS in Computer Science, with data engineering & science programming skills; Excellent analytical skills.
  

• 5+ years of experience in Data Science & Engineering focused on Web / Ecommerce analytics.
  

• Ability to convert Business / Product requirements to technical requirements, work with the Engineering & QA team to deliver.
  

• Previous data engineering, data mining & analysis experience.
  

• Familiarity with major web analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Facebook Pixel or similar.
  

• Strong verbal & visual communication skills to present & explain insights.
  

• Excellent attention to detail & accuracy.
  

• In depth knowledge on tools like Byteplus, VWO, Amplitude, MoEngage, Google Data Studio, Metabase, or similar tools.
  

• Ability to work effectively with different people in the engineering, QA & Product team.
  

• Advance skills in Python or similar data engineering & science tools. Working knowledge of MongoDB, Postgresql, ReactJS & NodeJS.
