We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Restaurant Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of a busy bakery and café environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences maintaining high service standards supervising front-of-house staff and supporting the efficient operation of the restaurant. This role requires strong leadership excellent communication skills and a passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily front-of-house operations to ensure smooth service delivery.
Lead motivate and support restaurant staff to achieve operational and customer service excellence.
Monitor staff performance attendance grooming and adherence to company policies and procedures.
Ensure guests receive prompt friendly and professional service at all times.
Handle customer inquiries feedback and complaints effectively and professionally.
Assist with staff scheduling training onboarding and performance management.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments to maintain adequate stock.
Ensure compliance with food safety hygiene health and safety regulations.
Support the implementation of promotional activities sales initiatives and operational improvements.
Conduct opening and closing procedures and ensure operational readiness throughout shifts.
Prepare daily operational reports and communicate key updates to management.
Maintain cleanliness organization and presentation standards across all dining and service areas.
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management Business Administration or a related field.
Minimum 34 years of experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant café bakery or hospitality environment.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution capabilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
Proficiency in POS systems and basic reporting.
Flexible to work shifts weekends and public holidays as required.
Experience within premium bakery café or casual dining concepts is highly desirable.
