We are looking for an experienced Resident Engineer Overground Stations to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 7 to 10 years of experience in managing and overseeing the construction and commissioning of overground stations specifically within metro or largescale infrastructure projects. The Resident Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that the construction of overground stations meets project specifications timelines and safety standards while also coordinating with contractors subcontractors and the design team to ensure smooth project .

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daytoday management and of construction activities for overground stations.
• Ensure that all work is completed on schedule within budget and to the highest quality standards adhering to the projects specifications and requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors subcontractors and design teams to resolve any technical issues and provide solutions that align with the project objectives.
• Review and approve method statements work plans and construction schedules related to the overground station construction.
• Supervise the site construction team and ensure compliance with safety regulations quality standards and environmental policies.
• Monitor the progress of construction works and ensure that any delays disruptions or risks are promptly identified and mitigated.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to ensure all construction activities are in accordance with design drawings specifications and safety standards.
• Ensure the resolution of technical issues in a timely manner and escalate critical concerns to senior management.
• Prepare and submit regular progress reports site diaries and meeting minutes for project stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry best practices in the of overground station construction.
• Liaise with the project management team to ensure all engineering issues are addressed and managed effectively.
• Review and approve contractor payments change orders and variations.
• Manage the interface between the construction team and other stakeholders including local authorities and thirdparty service providers.
• Coordinate and oversee the commissioning and handover processes for the overground stations.
• Lead site safety briefings and ensure the proper implementation of safety protocols on site.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in civil engineering or related discipline.
• 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in Railway Metro or similar projects with specific experience in the construction of overground stations.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles construction practices and project management.
• Indepth knowledge of local construction regulations and safety standards in the UAE.
• Previous experience working on metro projects or largescale transportation infrastructure projects is essential.
• Proficiency in construction management software project scheduling tools and Microsoft Office.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken). Arabic language skills are a plus.
• Valid UAE drivers license (preferred).

Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience with overground station construction including structural architectural and MEP systems.
• Experience in coordinating multidisciplinary teams and liaising with various stakeholders.
• Familiarity with metro standards and processes including station design construction and commissioning.
