Quantity Surveyor Post Contract

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our site team on a large residential development in Abu this role you will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of the project during the post-contract phase ensuring cost-effectiveness and contractual compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Manage post-contract commercial activities across the project.
• Review and assess contractor interim payment applications and prepare recommendations for certification.
• Evaluate variations change orders and claims in line with contract terms.
• Monitor project budgets and prepare monthly cost reports for the client or management.
• Assist in the preparation and negotiation of final accounts.
• Ensure compliance with contract conditions company policies and local regulations.
• Liaise with project managers design consultants and contractors on commercial and contractual matters.
• Provide cost advice on potential design or construction changes during project delivery.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit and contractual purposes.
• Support procurement activities including sub-contractor agreements and supplier evaluations (as required).
• Identify and mitigate commercial and contractual risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying Construction Management or a related field
• Professional membership in a recognized quantity surveying institution would be advantageous 
• Minimum 5 years of experience in post-contract quantity surveying
