We are looking for an experienced MEP Quantity Surveyor to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for quantity take-offs BOQ preparation and verification cost estimation contract administration variation orders progress billing and commercial management for Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) projects.
Key Responsibilities
Review and verify BOQs tender documents and contract specifications for MEP works.
Prepare accurate quantity take-offs for Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing systems.
Prepare cost estimates budgets and project cost analyses.
Monitor project costs and ensure work is completed within budget.
Prepare and submit monthly progress claims interim payment applications and payment certificates.
Evaluate and prepare variation orders (VOs) and change orders.
Review subcontractor quotations claims and payment applications.
Coordinate with Project Managers Site Engineers Consultants and Clients on commercial matters.
Monitor material procurement and reconcile quantities with site progress.
Ensure compliance with contract terms project specifications and commercial procedures.
Maintain accurate records of project costs variations and contractual documentation.

Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Quantity Surveying Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
5 years of experience as an MEP Quantity Surveyor in construction projects (Mandatory).
Strong knowledge of Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing systems.
Experience in BOQ preparation quantity take-offs cost estimation contract administration and project commercial management.
Experience with variation orders progress billing and subcontract management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel AutoCAD and QS/ERP software is preferred.
Strong analytical negotiation and communication skills.
