Quantity Surveyor – MEP
Job Summary
- Review and verify BOQs tender documents and contract specifications for MEP works.
- Prepare accurate quantity take-offs for Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing systems.
- Prepare cost estimates budgets and project cost analyses.
- Monitor project costs and ensure work is completed within budget.
- Prepare and submit monthly progress claims interim payment applications and payment certificates.
- Evaluate and prepare variation orders (VOs) and change orders.
- Review subcontractor quotations claims and payment applications.
- Coordinate with Project Managers Site Engineers Consultants and Clients on commercial matters.
- Monitor material procurement and reconcile quantities with site progress.
- Prepare monthly cost reports cash flow forecasts and Cost-to-Complete (CTC) reports.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms project specifications and commercial procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of project costs variations and contractual documentation.
- Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Quantity Surveying Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- 5 years of experience as an MEP Quantity Surveyor in construction projects (Mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing systems.
- Experience in BOQ preparation quantity take-offs cost estimation contract administration and project commercial management.
- Experience with variation orders progress billing and subcontract management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel AutoCAD and QS/ERP software is preferred.
- Strong analytical negotiation and communication skills.

Required Skills:
