QS cum ESTIMATOR FIT OUTS

hub smart interior design l.l.c, a prominent player in the Interior Design industry in Dubai, UAE, is seeking a detail-oriented QS cum Estimator – Fit-Out Works to join our dynamic this role, you will play a crucial part in quantity surveying, cost estimation, tender preparation, budgeting, and cost control for interior fit-out projects. Your expertise will ensure precise project costing, facilitating successful tender submissions and seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications.

Develop accurate cost estimates and BOQs for fit-out projects.

Analyze tender documents and craft comprehensive bid submissions.

Evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing.

Monitor project costs, variations, and budget performance meticulously.

Produce interim valuations, payment applications, and final accounts professionally.

Support in contract administration and commercial management efforts effectively.

Collaborate closely with project managers, designers, and procurement teams.

Maintain comprehensive cost databases and meticulous estimation records.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

3-5+ years of hands-on experience in interior fit-out estimation and quantity surveying.

Sound knowledge of fit-out materials, construction techniques, and prevailing market rates.

Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and specialized estimating software.

Strong analytical capabilities, excellent negotiation skills, and effective communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in commercial, retail, hospitality, or residential fit-out projects.

Familiarity with local construction regulations and various contract types.
