INTECH Automation Intelligence is seeking a QA/QC Engineer (Mechanical) to join our Project QA/QC team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the highest standards of quality management assurance and control are maintained throughout the lifecycle of projects across the Oil & Gas Petrochemical Utilities and Manufacturing industries. The ideal candidate will excel in ensuring compliance with industry standards and QHSE regulations focusing on the inspection and quality assurance of electrical systems and wellhead control panels in factory environments. What Youll Lead and Deliver
- Execute and implement approved Project Quality Plans (PQP) Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) Method Statements and quality procedures.
- Ensure compliance with contractual quality requirements project specifications approved drawings and applicable international standards.
- Monitor and control all QA/QC activities throughout the project execution phase.
- Coordinate and execute inspection activities in accordance with approved ITPs.
- Raise Notifications of Inspection (NOI) and coordinate inspections with clients third-party inspectors subcontractors and vendors.
- Conduct receiving in-process and final inspections for fabrication welding painting assembly and installation activities.
- Verify material traceability and compliance with approved material specifications.
- Witness and review NDT activities and ensure compliance with approved procedures and acceptance criteria.
- Monitor welding activities and verify compliance with approved WPS PQR and Welder Qualification Records.
- Perform dimensional inspections and verify completion of quality records.
- Prepare review and maintain project QA/QC documentation and inspection records.
- Compile Manufacturing Record Books (MRB) Engineering Data Books (EDB) Quality Dossiers and project turnover documentation.
- Review inspection reports test reports material certificates NDT reports calibration certificates and subcontractor quality records.
- Maintain inspection status reports punch lists and quality tracking registers.
- Raise and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) observations corrective actions and close-out records.
- Coordinate quality-related activities with project teams vendors subcontractors and client representatives.
- Attend quality meetings and provide updates on inspection status and quality performance.
- Support client audits surveillance inspections and quality assessments.
- Monitor surface preparation painting and coating activities in accordance with project specifications and approved procedures.
- Verify coating inspection records DFT measurements environmental conditions and coating system compliance.
- Inspect welding and fabrication activities to ensure compliance with approved procedures and applicable codes.
Requirements:
To Be Successful in This Role You Must Have:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 9 - 10 years of QA/QC experience in EPC and project execution environments.
- Experience in E-House Building Projects is advantageous.
- CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector (Mandatory).
- BGAS Grade 2 Coating Inspector (Mandatory). ASNT NDT Level II Certification (Mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of ASME Section IX ASME Section V ASME Section II and AWS D1.1.
- Experience in welding fabrication painting/coating inspection project quality documentation MRB/EDB compilation and client inspection coordination. Skills

- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a site-based project environment.
