Key Responsibilities:* - Source and purchase high-quality ingredients, supplies, and equipment for the restaurant. - Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing agreements. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all purchases and inventory levels. - Receive, inspect, and verify the quality and quantity of deliveries. - Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of ingredients. - Implement inventory control procedures to minimize waste and control costs. - Monitor and replenish stock levels to meet operational needs while minimizing excess inventory. - Work closely with the management team to develop and adhere to budgetary guidelines. - Collaborate with the kitchen team to identify ingredient substitutions when necessary. - Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
