Projects Senior Specialist

• Develop and implement technology project management processes and guidelines, in line with leading practices, to ensure efficient and effective execution of all technology projects, and in alignment with DCT’s digitization and technology priorities.
• Ensure that all technology projects and plans are implemented in line with established standards, process, and framework to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
• Develop and communicate best practices, techniques, and tools for project management, to ensure project management process implementation and alignment with the department’s objectives.
• Contribute to the conduction of awareness sessions, coach and mentor projects’ team members to ensure the scope, goals, and deliverables of technology projects support business goals in collaboration with senior management when and if required.
• Support in conducting Project quality audit, monitor the compliance of projects with the expected quality standards and deliverables outputs to ensure standardize the processes.
• Proactively monitor IT programs and ensure that corrective methods and plans are identified to ensure a smooth run of work.
• Build and nurture external networks consisting of government and industry experts, vendors and other relevant parties for partnerships, shared services, knowledge, cost optimization.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s (Master’s degree preferred) in Computer Science, IT, Web Development or equivalent.
• Certifications in IT Standards, MP Methodology, Prince2 PMP Agile ,PMP, PgMP, is preferred.
