The opportunity

You as Project Business Controller will be part of Hitachi Energy. You will be expected to Support Project Manager in all financial and commercial matters and actively drive the projects performance. Assigned to multiple projects. Also supporting the OU controller with business controlling.

How youll make an impact

• Tender Stage as supporting the tender manager on financial aspects. Provides input to negotiations on commercial issues. Provides input in local and global risk review process.
• Project as providing input to the Project Plan on financial aspects.
• Prepares project invoices financial accounting and reporting on projects. Drives project cash flow and oversees currency risk and tax issues. Is responsible for the correctness of projects balance sheet and income statement as well as for cash flow and monthly/quarterly forecast.
• Monitoring and Review as participating in opportunity risk identification monitor that all required mitigation actions are
• Timely implemented as actively and proactively supporting the Project Manager in coordinating and preparing monthly project reviews. Participates in preparing and analyzing the projects cost reports. Verifies the substance for cost to complete.
• Commercial Terms as providing support on claim management backcharges insurance cases and monitors the proper follow up together with the Contract Manager Project Manager upstream (towards customer) sidestream (towards consortia partner if applicable) as well as downstream (towards suppliers).
• Compliance as supporting the Project Manager in adherence to corporate governance integrity assurance internal control group charter country specific finance directives and instructions.
• Other Controlling as acting as deputy and support Operating Unit Controller on business controlling topics.

Your background

• A bachelors degree or masters degree in finance is required.
• 510 years of project controlling or finance experience in Energy or T&D industries is preferred.
• Customer and business oriented strong commercial and communication skills.
• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
