Role Overview:
Orbit International Survey Services LLC is seeking an experienced Production Engineer Electrical to oversee and coordinate electrical fabrication installation and construction activities for offshore and petrochemical projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and monitoring electrical works managing materials and consumables reviewing engineering drawings coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors and supporting project execution through system completion and handover while ensuring compliance with project specifications quality standards safety requirements and project schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor cable consumption and prepare reports comparing actual versus planned cable quantities.
- Prepare MTOs and coordinate procurement of Electrical materials and consumables.
- Monitor Electrical consumable usage and initiate replenishment when required.
- Coordinate Electrical subcontractors and vendors during project execution.
- Prepare and issue Method Statements (MS) Safe Work Procedures (SWP) and technical procedures.
- Review Electrical drawings for constructability.
- Conduct project specification and technical reviews with fabrication yard supervision.
- Coordinate with Engineering QA/QC Procurement Planning and Construction teams.
- Supervise installation of switchgears transformers MCCs lighting systems earthing lightning protection and cable support systems.
- Support project superintendent in identifying manpower and training requirements.
- Lead Electrical system completion testing pre-commissioning commissioning and handover.
- Monitor completion of check sheets ITRs punch lists and turnover dossiers.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Offshore Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects.
- Experience in electrical fabrication installation testing and commissioning.
- Knowledge of switchgears transformers cable systems and power distribution.
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings and prepare MTOs.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
