Procurement Specialist إماراتيين (خلاصة القيد)

AECOM are currently seeking a Procurement Specialist to be based in Abu Dhabi. The Procurement Specialist is responsible for sourcing goods and services negotiating contracts and ensuring timely and cost-effective purchasing to support organizational operations. This role plays a key part in optimizing supply chain efficiency maintaining vendor relationships and ensuring compliance with procurement policies.

Responsibilities:

• Identify procurement needs across departments.
• Conduct market research to find reliable suppliers and compare offers.
• Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to secure favorable pricing and delivery schedules.
• Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions.
• Monitor inventory levels and restock as needed.
• Ensure all procured items meet quality and specification standards.
• Track procurement KPIs and generate performance reports.
• Maintain and update procurement records and documentation.
• Resolve supplier issues including delivery delays and product discrepancies.
• Collaborate with finance legal and operations teams to align procurement with company goals.
• Implement risk management strategies for supply contracts.
• Stay informed on market trends and pricing dynamics.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration or related field.
• 2 years of experience in procurement or purchasing roles.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of procurement laws regulations and best practices.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Eligibility: As part of AECOMs commitment to Emiratisation and in compliance with UAE labor law only UAE Nationals with a family book will be considered for this role.
