Procurement Officer

Job Summary: Al Reem Group is seeking a full-time Procurement Officer to oversee the sourcing and procurement of goods and services needed for the companys operations. The Procurement Officer will be responsible for identifying cost-effective deals maintaining supplier relationships negotiating contracts and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality materials in compliance with company policies and industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to meet business needs.
• Source evaluate and select suppliers based on price quality service and reliability.
• Negotiate contracts terms and conditions with suppliers to secure cost-effective deals.
• Monitor and track orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve any supply chain issues.
• Maintain accurate procurement records contracts and reports.
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand their purchasing needs and requirements.
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate market trends.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and relevant legal and regulatory standards.
• Review supplier performance and address any issues or concerns to improve service quality.
• Work on continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes and efficiency.
• Manage inventory levels and forecast material needs to optimize stock availability.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Procurement Officer or in a similar role
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
• Knowledge of procurement processes inventory management and supply chain management
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems (e.g. Odoo)
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with teams
• Bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management or a related field
• Immediate availability preferred
