Job Summary
Identify evaluate and manage suppliers in China for raw materials components and manufacturing equipment ensuring quality cost and lead-time targets are met.
Negotiate pricing payment terms and contracts directly with Chinese manufacturers and trading companies and build long-term supplier relationships.
Plan and manage international freight (sea and air) from China coordinating with forwarders to optimize cost and transit time.
Handle or coordinate import documentation HS code classification duties and customs clearance for shipments into the UAE.
Read technical drawings specifications and datasheets to accurately source parts and communicate technical requirements to suppliers.
Support off-road vehicle and EV manufacturing operations through timely cost-effective sourcing of components and materials.
Requirements
Engineering Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Electrical Industrial or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement sourcing or supply chain preferably involving China-based suppliers.
Working knowledge of UAE import procedures HS code classification duties and customs clearance.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings specifications and datasheets.
Mandarin proficiency (spoken and written) preferred for direct supplier communication and negotiation.
Arabic language ability is an added advantage for local vendor customs and stakeholder coordination.

Position Senior EV Powertrain & Battery Systems Engineer Location Al Ain Abu Dhabi UAE Employment Type Full-Time Salary AED 10000 AED 20000 (Depending on Experience) Joining Immediate Joiners Preferred About the Role We are looking for an experienced EV Powertrain Engineer to lead the electrical architecture and powertrain development of electric go-karts and prototype electric vehicles. This is not a wiring harness design role. The successful candidate will be responsible for selecting designing and integrating the complete EV powertrain including batteries battery management systems motors motor controllers and electrical protection systems. The ideal candidate must have independently completed EV projects from concept through testing and commissioning. Key Responsibilities EV Powertrain Design Design complete EV powertrain architecture. Select suitable traction motors based on vehicle performance. Calculate required torque power RPM and gear ratios. Design complete electrical power flow.
