Post-Doctoral Associate in the Center for Sand Hazards and Opportunities in Resilience Energy and Sustainability SHORES

The Center for Sand Hazards and Opportunities in Resilience Energy and Sustainability (SHORES)seeks to recruit a Postdoctoral Associate to work on a broader field of geotechnical engineering.

Required Qualifications:

A successful applicant must have a PhD in Geotechnical Engineering or a related field with a focuson one or more of the following:

Artificial intelligence applications in geotechnical engineering

Bioremediation and geoenvironmental engineering

Geohazards risk assessment and management via remote sensing

Energy geotechnics

Advanced experimental testing and field instrumentation

Research Project:
The successful applicant will lead a fascinating project aimed at enhancing the state in designing and managing efficient and environmentfriendly infrastructure and energy systems. The PostDoctoralAssociate will work in a multidisciplinary environment consisting of researchers graduate studentsand undergraduate students. The Postdoctoral Associate is expected to continuously documentresearch progress in the form of scientific publications to be submitted to reputable journals.
