POSITION PURPOSE:
The People Partner is responsible for supporting the implementation of core HR activities in line with Sephora Middle East HR Strategy including but not limited to Recruitment pre and onboarding payroll transfer promotions employee records employee relations and employee performance.
The role incumbent will assist in the implementation of the employee performance management system and employee retention.
Process specialist for the region Talent management succession planning and performance management
Engaging with key senior business HR/Education Stakeholders to develop a culture of managing talent and define talent related needs and implement strategues to enhance the performance of the people
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
HR Operations & Employee Relations:
Coordinate the Offer Letter Contract terms Joing Documents for the HQ new hires promotions and transfers.
Manage the preboarding with Chalhoub (Jointventure) and onboarding process for all new joiners.
Plan schedule and facilitate smooth new hires onboarding process coordinating with crossfunctional departments to deliver an exceptional firstday and first 3 months experience.
Maintain digital copies of employees records and frequently align with Chalhoub on employee data.
Assist Finance and Chalhoub with payroll validation and processing.
Provide administrative support to all employee services such as but not limited to letters & NOC.
Track leave utilisation and report on potential risk
Own and conduct the separation process and conduct exit interview process of all HQ employees analyse attrition reason and report to the HR Manager.
Track and create standard reports on all people metrics as necessary such as headcount transfers turnover promotions Org Chart disciplinary engagement survey and initiatives outcomes performance analysis of HR programs etc. also prepares proposal from findings and present them to the HR Manager for consideration.
Assist the HR Manager in resolving employee relations issues grievance and conducting effective & objective investigations
Support the HRD & HR Manager in reviewing the role benchmark the grades and salary (New Joiners Promotions Catch Ups)
HR Talent & Employee Engagement:
Maintain approved HC and conclude the hires of HQ employee replacement through appropriate selection process.
Rollout the Performance Management Process (PCR).
Assist the HR Manager in managing the daytoday performance management guidance to line management (e.g. coaching counseling career development disciplinary actions) and track the process compliance and documentation of all poor performance as per the Performance Management Policy.
Assist Line Manaer in the ICR process for HQ Employees
Act as a trusted advisor on employee career development in coordination with the Training team.
Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation to all employees and conduct roadshows to promote the company HR process and policies & Worklife balance.
Identify trends related to our human capital and use these findings to propose solutions to issues that affect employee relations.
HR Special Projects & Others:
Actively participate and implement HR and business initiatives while simultaneously ensuring proper communication and collaboration with different departments.
Assist in any HR automation project and Manage pre/onboarding and offboarding.
Cover the duties of colleagues in their absence.
EXPERIENCE SKILLS & PERSONALITY:
5 years of experience in HR including 3 years in a Specialist role Desired experience in retail luxury or fashion industry.
Experience must include at least 2 of the following HR disciplines; recruitment talent management Employee Relations.
The incumbent must have demonstrated successful experience sourcing for valuable potential recruitment.
Good verbal and written communication skills to facilitate smooth and effective communication between management and employees drawing up reports and recommendations. Helpful and serviceoriented have an ability to work under pressure and be able to be discreet when dealing with confidential information. Must also be selfmotivated proactive going beyond the call of duty and resultoriented.
Proficient in Ms Word Ms Excel and PowerPoint which are all necessary to create visually and verbally engaging materials reports presentations and proposals for departmental heads and management team.
Clear and structured report and relevant assessment to help making informed decisions.
Maintains adequate knowledge of GCC labor law related to daytoday management of employees reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Most importantly She/he needs to live and breathe the Sephora Culture DNA and Employee Value propositions (EVP) with a passion for people and making a difference. She/he need to have excellent authentic communication and influencing skills and be energized by working in a fast paced dynamic environment.
