Join a forward-thinking institution as aProfessor of Corporate Management conducting courses in the area of International Finance & Accounting at the Dubai campus of UE. We are looking for a passionate and experienced Professor to help shape the next generation of this exciting role youll deliver engaging and practical design modules while leveraging your industry expertise to create real-world connections in the classroom.
As a Professor at UE Dubai youll play an instrumental role in delivering high-quality education and helping students develop the skills they need for success in their careers. Your contributions will have a lasting impact on the academic journey of your students and support the continued growth of both the university and its vibrant international community.
Key Activities & Responsibilities:
- Conducting introductory and advanced courses in the areas of Controlling & Cost Management Management Consulting Finance and/or Digital Transformation. Candidates are not expected to be experts in all these areas but should be able to give lectures on at least two of them
- Planning and implementation of research and development projects including publication activities in the field of business administration
- Advising and supervising students to help them achieve their goals
- Grading student work supervising seminars projects bachelor master and doctoral theses ensuring a high standard of academic achievement
- Establishing partnerships with industry leaders and institutions to further grow the network of the University at the Dubai location
- Participate in university administration and committee work actively supporting the success of UE
- Advising prospective students
- Experience in teaching lectures in the areas of Corporate Management Finance and Controlling. Experience in teaching advanced versions of these courses is an advantage
- Work experience in international and national companies
- Ability to teach courses in English language
- Ability to teach courses in German language is an advantage
- Publication and research activity desired
- Strong ability to communicate and work in a team
- Organizational skills and eagerness to work together to advance the success and growth of the University
Requirements for professorship:
- University studies completed with a masters degree
- Proof of extraordinary qualification for scientific work in the form of an outstanding doctorate and/or outstanding scientific publications
- Qualified professional experience in the field of the professorship at least three years two of them outside of a university
