Job Summary

Develop the ORAT strategy lead the function and provide technical know-how required for the operational readiness of new airport facilities. Plan and review testing of equipment and trials to identify operational gapsensuring robust training mechanisms are established to bridge those gaps. Ensure timely execution of work and commissioning of infrastructure within strict deadlines maintaining overall responsibility for a seamless operational transition. Ensure all legal and regulatory compliance requirements related to project execution are fully satisfied.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIS)

1. Strategic Planning:

Develop overarching strategies and plans for ORAT projects aligning them with airport goals regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Define project timelines milestones and key performance indicators to measure success.

Allocate resources effectively including budget personnel and technology.

On-time completion of project milestones and overall timelines.

ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIS)

2. Stakeholder Management:

Liaise with internal and external stakeholders (airport management airlines government agencies contractors and vendors) to ensure alignment.

Foster strong relationships and proactively address concerns or conflicts during preparation and activation phases.

Level of engagement and satisfaction of stakeholders (airlines ground handlersvendors regulatory agencies).

3. Team Leadership:

Build and lead a multidisciplinary ORAT team comprising project managers operations specialists technical experts and support staff.

Provide guidance direction and mentorship to foster a collaborative and high-performance work culture.

Maintain clear communication channels and facilitate regular progress reviews.

Number and speed of operational issues resolved.

Team satisfaction levels evaluated via internal feedback mechanisms.

4. Project Management:

Oversee all aspects of ORAT projects from initial planning to activation and post-activation support.

Develop detailed project plans work breakdown structures (WBS) and risk management strategies.

Monitor progress against timelines and budgets proactively addressing deviations or bottlenecks.

Adherence to project timelines and workflow targets.

5. Operational Readiness:

Develop comprehensive ORAT plans tailored to terminal operations air traffic management security protocols and passenger experience.

Conduct simulations tabletop exercises and operational trials to validate readiness and identify gaps.

Coordinate training programs for airport staff and stakeholder personnel on new procedures.

Establish feedback mechanisms to capture lessons learned.

Successful completion of trial runs and operational readiness timelines.

6. Activation & Transition:

Oversee seamless transition from existing to new facilitiesensuring minimal disruption to passenger services and flight operations.

Monitor activation activities in real-time handling emergencies to maintain operational continuity.

Coordinate with regulatory authorities to obtain necessary operational certifications and approvals.

Conduct post-activation reviews and evaluate effectiveness.

Milestone timelines achieved.

Quality and quantity of post-activation

reports and assessments delivered.

7. Continuous Improvement:

Drive a culture of continuous improvement across airport operations using feedback data analysis and benchmarks.
