Operations Manager

Responsibilities:

Maintain and optimize networks and servers

Be responsible for device and password management

Oversee data backup and system security operations (e.g. user authorization, firewalls)

Manage installations, upgrades and configurations of hardware and software

Assess system performance and recommend improvements

Resolve issues escalated by technicians and engineers

Ensure data is handled, transferred or processed according to legal and company guidelines

Provide support and guidance to stakeholders via help desk

Control costs and budgets regarding IT systems

Manage contracts with vendors (e.g. development platforms, telecommunication companies, password managers) and software licenses

Develop IT policies and practices

Responsible for availability, security and performance of all operational systems

Manage the architecture and design of the organization operational systems

Develop & implement workflows & processes to ensure timely & accurate processing and compliance is adhered to in Vendor Master set-up, Invoice & Payment processing

Drive continuous improvement and lean methodologies into NPI processes

Manage overall engineering operation staff, develop team members, and implement best practices, deliverables and milestones

Overseas ODM activities and work closely with 3rd Party App component owner for delivery of software and services

Leads Ad-hoc programs involving multiple functions and project teams to drive the engineering development, quality, and process improvement for product or service offering

Manage with internal team on all SOW and vendor management

Build relationships with vendors and partners and overseas the overall outsourcing operating model

Budget planning, invoice approval, and reconcile expenses

Qualifications:

Proven experience as IT Operations Manager

Experience with system installation, configuration and analysis

Thorough knowledge of networks and cloud computing

Knowledge of data protection operations and legislation (e.g. GDPR)

Leadership and organizational skills

Ability to manage multiple projects

Outstanding communication skills

Problem-solving atitude

Bachelor's in IT or relevant field

List any licenses or certifications required by the position: ITIL, ISO
