Neuro Physiologist
Job Summary
- Conduct neurophysiological tests such as EEG EMG nerve conduction studies and evoked potentials.
- Prepare patients for procedures explain the tests and ensure their comfort and safety.
- Monitor and record neurological activity accurately using specialized equipment.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to interpret results and provide input for diagnosis and treatment.
- Maintain and calibrate neurophysiology equipment ensuring it is in optimal working condition.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare standards.
- Adhere to infection control safety and quality assurance protocols.
- Stay updated on advancements in neurophysiology testing and best practices.
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Neurophysiology Clinical Neurophysiology or related field.
- Valid UAE healthcare professional license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Minimum of 3 years relevant clinical experience including pediatric patient exposure preferred.
- Strong knowledge of neurological anatomy physiology and diagnostic techniques.
- Proficiency in operating neurophysiology diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
