Senior Android Engineer

Duration: 6+ Months (Review and assessment work package )

English Level: A minimum level of C1 is required

Rate: $300 Per Day OUTSIDE IR35

Location: US, Mexico (to be able to work in the same time zone - PST)

What you'll do as an Android Engineer:

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform with high availability (low-latency, crash-free) and performance, utilizing Kotlin
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle
• Conduct code reviews, analyze codebase, recognize and refactor bad practices.
• Support the culture of clean, well-organized, testable, and reusable code Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review
• Work with your team under fast deadlines to design, build, and deliver innovative applications.
  
  What skills you will use:
  
• Experience in Kotlin, computer science, and development principles
• Experience in async calls, web sockets, working with remote data (eg. 3rd party libraries, APIs), Android SDK
• Profound insight on the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, emerging technologies, and mobile application life cycle
• Very good understanding of agility, strong communication skills
• UX accessibility knowledge preferred
• A good grasp of English is required to communicate properly with PO and Senior Devs on the customer team.
