Logistics Team Lead (with Russian language)

Tasks

• Organizing imports and exports for international trade
• Managing international markets (deliveries to Europe from all over the world)
• Registration and preparation of documentation for customs clearance in Europe work with customs brokers
• Understanding certification requirements in the EU
• Sourcing new service providers on favorable terms for the company
• Preparing reports and planning expenses
• Working with Business Process Management software
• Negotiating and signing contracts with new partners

Requirements

• Proven experience in independently managing logistics processes and leading a logistics team (direct reports in the logistics department)
• Hands-on involvement in operational logistics and readiness to personally handle tasks especially during process implementation or optimization
• Experience working with transportation companies and understanding of the freight and carrier market
• Solid knowledge of transportation and freight legislation including international logistics
• Familiarity with Business Process Management (BPM) software
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and incoming requests
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Proficiency in English and Russian (both written and spoken)
• High level of responsibility reliability and self-discipline
