Responsibilities:

• Providing legal advice on a wide range of matters depending on business need and your experience and particular interest including the following focus areas: product development distribution/market conduct regulatory compliance corporate governance operations vendor contracting privacy and marketing among other areas.

• Conduct legal research and analysis on various issues related to the GHNW business.

• Help to monitor interpret and report on relevant legal and regulatory developments that may impact the GHNW business.

• Draft review and sometimes negotiate vendor contracts policy contracts and other legal documents.

• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including business leaders compliance risk management among other functions to ensure alignment and effective support for the business.

• Support the Chief Counsel and the broader legal compliance and risk teams in managing risk and helping to promote high-quality sustainable growth.

Required Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

• Licensed to practice law in good standing in your jurisdiction.

• Experience in a law firm or in-house legal department. Experience with insurance financial services or corporate law.

• Outstanding analytical research written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

• High level of professionalism integrity and commitment to client service.

• Ability to exercise discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.

• Energetic and personable with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
