Junior Instructional Designer
Job Summary
We are seeking a Junior Instructional Designer to support the development of engaging digital learning content for a large-scale education platform for high-school students.
This role is ideal for someone early in their instructional design career. Who wants hands-on experience designing courses activities and assessments alongside senior learning professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the design and development of digital courses and learning activities
- Assist in building course outlines storyboards and assessment items
- Review and organize content from external vendors
- Help implement learning content within the LMS
- Conduct QA checks for accuracy clarity and learner experience
- Support revisions based on feedback from senior designers
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- 13 years of experience in instructional design e-learning or education
- Academic background in education instructional design learning sciences or related fields
- Understanding of learning outcomes and assessment basics
- Strong written communication skills
- Comfortable working with digital tools and platforms
Preferred Skills
- Experience with e-learning tools (Articulate Rise Canva Genially H5P)
- Exposure to LMS platforms
- Interest in career education student pathways or digital learning
- Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
